Choosing the Right One: 16 Questions to ask yourself before you marry
By David Sunshine
Introduction
In my work as a crisis counselor, I’ve seen first-hand the disastrous effects of divorce. And as a father of three teenage daughters, I want to help my children avoid that experience. So I began researching the subject of choosing a spouse, hoping to find some books I could give them that would help them to choose the right marriage partner.
I began by buying books written by the most well-known names in the field. Most of these books gave excellent advice, yet every one was incomplete. So I decided to summarize the best information I found, and soon I had written a small booklet I could give to my children.
While doing this research, I realized that other singles would be in-terested in reading the notes I had gathered. That’s how this article came into being.
Whether you are young or old, I hope you find this article helpful.
Feel free to write to me with your comments; I’d love to hear from you.
