Association for Marriage Enrichment

Introduction

The Association for Marriage Enrichment helps couples with a "good enough" relationship to strengthen and enrich their bond of love. We do this chiefly through our "Focus on Couples" workshops where each couple learns new skills to help their relationship grow and flourish. The workshops are usually residential weekends (click here for dates), but can also be run non-residentially for a for a group from church. Workshops are limited to about six couples, and are led by an accredited leader couple who share in all the activities. This encourages openness in a safe and supportive environment.

A workshop is a voyage of self-discovery. Couples are encouraged to communicate in new ways, to recognise their strengths and to deal positively with any issues arising from the growth in their relationship. Participants' privacy is respected, and no-one is dictated to or judged. AME has a Christian ethos, but the workshops are equally suitable for couples of any faith or none.
