So I'm thinking if you "know" someone, I'm very glad I "know" you! Could come in very handy! haha

Re: Jahdog

Hope you don't mind me reviving your thread, JD.

I just wanted to say how great it is that you post lots of affirmative support here, especially for blokes experiencing the same horrors that you went through. Sometimes men get the wrong kind of feedback from women (guilty as spoken, I know ...) so it's extra cool when male members speak up.
[bad joke lol @ 'male members' ]

I think it's courageous of you! You're still going through your own crap, but still have time for other people ... and I thought a chef never has *any* time!!

I also thought a chef *never* has any self-doubt! But know you're still hurting, at times. Bear with it - and thanks, for all the encouragement you dish out here

Re: Jahdog

thanks AG , wish didnt have self doubt. chefs get trained to first know what they are doing now and be a few steps ahead and second to be confident. mental lists and always perform task while thinking about the next and next. anyway i guess its effective. i live the day and have the next mentally mapped.

Re: Jahdog

Lol, one of my great-aunts once told me the best lovers are drummers, violinists and chefs! (She was married to an accountant.)

Well, I learned why she said drummers (rhythm & 'independence' - can do different things with each hand ... ) but I can't stand the sound of a violin, though I think I get where she was coming from

Your post, above, kind of explains what she meant about chefs! I'll be looking out for a man who can
