Re: Feel good tunes that lift you up

Hmmm, my feel good tunes do tend to vary, but at the current time I tend to find myself listening to:

The Things Your Man Won't Do by Joe
Pretty Girl by Jon B
Rise by Gabrielle
Defying Gravity from the show "Wicked"
You Should Be Mine (Woo Woo Song) by Jeffrey Osborne - who remembers that? LOOOOOOL
What A Fool Believes by Doobie Brothers
Call The Man by Celine Dion
Ave Maria by Celine Dion - this is my fave at those moments when I feel that knife of agony turning in my heart. I just surrender to it and bawl my eyes out!!!
Irreplaceable by Beyonce - To the left, to the left . . .

Re: Feel good tunes that lift you up

Ooooh, I forgot to mention that tune from the new Comfort advert "do the moves, do the moves, let me see you do the moves . . ." the kids and I do our thaaaaaang around the living room every time that advert comes on - I love the caterpillar strutting his stuff at the end . . .

Speaking of adverts! I also really love that "pacha boom, pacha boom, what happened to da band?" from the Baileys advert with that lady shaking the drinks shaker/mixer thingy. It's not a pretty sight to see me trying to wiggle my butt to that . . . my kids tend to fall about laughing, but I really love that tune!

Lol - Good track

Nickleback are playing mid September in London, tickets are quite pricey though at £50 upwards

I posted a Staind track on the other thread - it seems quite appropriate to our situations good track all the same and good video

Black Betty was by a group called RAM JAM - what sort of innuendo's will we get from that one.

One that really lifts me up at the moment is the Mark Ronson/Amy Winehouse version of Valerie, The music Video is superb - All those Lurvly young ladies (He He)

Re: Feel good tunes that lift you up

Will have to wait til I get some cash, but that sounds like a fantastic idea!

Last time I went to London was to the Astoria to see Cradle of Filth.....absolutely brilliant!!

Are there any decent heavy metal/rock clubs in London? They closed the 2 best ones in my town...

Looks like we're staying at Micou's house for the night

Re: Feel good tunes that lift you up

Yeap that sounds like a plan.

Cradle of filth Kyalan ???? seriously and you wonder what happened..... JOKING
but seriously cradle of filth oh how I laughed. Over here we have a fantstic radio skit and Daniel o Donnell is on it (obviously not the real one) and that is one of his favourite bands he is always talking about them.
I must get the address of where ye can get the pod casts some of it is real irish stuff but other skits will rock your world so funny. Gift grub Today fm that is all I know for now.
I have a few places to stay in London so I am ok plus girls keep yer options open we may pull a few long haired pierced rock and rollers also I believe they would have a drug dealer on speed dial and the girls come easy (ha thats what they think )
I am going to see Radio head and massive attack some of us just can't let go of the past.
Talk soon, I am Getting better
