How To Change A Stubborn Spouse

I have been Married for 17 and a half years, and my husband is set in his ways,I asked if I could have this stray kitten that is hanging around our house, we have to adult cats and the one of our cats is still young he likes to play and he has no one to play with, so I thought this cat would be a good pal for him, and my husband has ademately refused to even discuss it he says no and thats it!!! I dont think he is being very nice at all he is only saying no because I want the cat if the kids wanted it he would say yes, but they are with him on this. How can I get him to quit being so stubborn?

So who's being stubborn?? Him for saying "No" or you for insisting "Yes"???

Sounds like you both need to work on some communication as I doubt if this is really about a cat....

Now, where's that big wolf-hound I want that my wife can't stand....
