I am currently researching an article asking what is the point of marriage in modern life?
Why do people still get married when the divorce rate in the UK is 40%?
Everyone I have asked says that there is something special about marriage. Even if it is not logical, being married is somehow different to just being a couple.
What do you think? I would love to hear from absolutely anyone with an opinion but especially newly weds - why did you decide to take the plunge and what do you hope for the future? Please give names and ages where possible, and contact details if you wouldn't mind me following up.
Thanks very much,
Kez Richmond
