Spying on your spouse

I work for an established independent TV company called Ideal World. Channel 4 have asked me to speak to people who are spying on their spouse, with a view to making a 50 minute documentary. If you would like to talk I'd be delighted to hear from you.

The subject of "spying on your spouse " is a very sensitive one for me. I find myself spying on my spouse continuously now, after discovering his antics on the internet with chat lines and pornography. I have ranged from hurt to anger to devestation to blaming myself to blaming him. I do love my partner and I would not easily choose to leave him. However I find myself asking questions like, can i trust him ever again?, will he eventually just meet someone else? does he really love me? and I honestly am confused about my options. Internet infidelity is a destroying factor in an otherwise seemingly good relationship. I have never been faced with this problem before and I am not finding it easy to make the appropriate decision or choice in the my situation.

I've had the experience of having my fiance fly to another state to secretly have sex with a woman he met over the internet. I found out because I was unpacking his suitcase and found condoms and lubricant which one usually would not need for a business trip without one's fiance. He never let on, and was always thoughtful and nice to me, and our sex life was great. I started checking his emails regularly after that and caught him in several different lies. The internet makes it very EASY for men to cheat and to keep their needs heightened by porn solicitations.
I really wish there was something ordinary people could do to stop internet cheating, but alas we can't. But I suppose a man who will cheat will cheat whether or not there is internet access.
