I think having time for each other is really important in marriage. We find we can get taken over by looking after the children, but we've started to put a limit on how many things they can do after school so we're not premanently driving them around. We've also decided to have one night a week, when no one goes out and the ansamachine goes on. The children have been told that mum and dad are busy and we go off on our own with a coffee or a glass of wine to talk. It's amazing how much more intouch we are.
