Why do guys hide porn from their girlfriend

I just found this website while I am super confused with my bf hiding his intention to watch porn from me.

I am confused. My bf watches porn when I am a sleep while he could not sleep. When I woke up suddenly and ask what was he doing he would just say "Nothing. Just could not sleep. Looking through the dvd" while in actual fact he was watching porn and switch it off before i reach the tv.

I knew it so I tried to make him understand that I would not mind him watching it therefore I talk with him and told him I would not mind and would be glad to see it with him. He told me he is shy watching it together with me but he would watch with me next time but I found out he did not again. He again watch while I was a sleep. It really upsets me and makes me wonder is there anything wrong. Worst is we just have great sex on the same night before he watches the "porn". He looked so satisfied. I really do wonder if he is or he just faked it. :confused:

Please advise. Should I talk to him again or should I just keep it to myslef and forget about it.

I think a man works differently from a woman. When a man watches porn it will not be part of your relationsip. He will be relating sexually to other woman's bodies and that is why he feels guilty. If you were married it would be a kind of mental adultery which would have a dire affect upon the marriage. Ultimately it will affect his sex life and yours inasmuch as these others will be part of the relationship you are having. Many marriages have been ruined through porn addiction which started off as a kind of sexual unfaithfulness. I think you play with this at your peril. It will muddy pure waters.

For some folks watching porn with a partner is difficult for various reasons.... Blokes have a built in need to compare themselves with other guys, and to be honest I bet theres few blokes that are built like the actors or have the stamina of them! Watching porn with a partner could make him feel inadequate and make things worse... Personally I'm not a great fan of porn, but I do believe it has its place in society, and as with most things, if used in moderation, shouldn't cause any harm.

hmmm that could be it.!!!
my husband looks at porn (maybe not lately) but he has a problem with it in the sence that he won't have sex with me not even snuggle when i need some kind of closeness.
He looks at porn to see women but the men in the porn have real big penis's so this might make him feel insecure about himself. (size shouldn't matter but men worry about it so much)
Porn might not be an issue for you now but one day it might do you want to take that chance?
