hi, im muslim i was married last 1997 i was separeted with my partner for last 10 years for reason of relationship not working anymore,,now planning to get married with my new girlfriend it is posible more us to get married or be blsseds by priest in the church sence im a muslim? thanks!!

Generally, the answer is yes. However, it is not a straightforward process and other factors will likely be taken into account. It is not clear precisely what religion your girlfriend is. In the case of the Catholic Church, it would be necessary for a dispensation for 'disparity of the cult' to be given by the bishop. I do not know how your previous, presumably non-christian, marriage would be taken into account here - its existence may disqualify you. In any case, you would need to provide proof that it is no longer in effect.

You and your girlfriend need to take this up with her parish priest. There are likely to be other questions raised which should be prepared for, especially concerning the religion under which children will be raised.

There may also be complications for yourself within your religion. It will certainly not be easy and the complications for both of you may just prove too great.
