I am 38 years old and married nearly 17 years.Most of my life has been devoted to the children,I have two 14 and 8 years old.Recently we have started to have real money worries for the first time in quite a few years,first the car went kaput,and because my husband does alot of commuting,it had to be replaced.Then our boiler (central heating)went and that had to be repaired at a cost of £300.I have went and got myself my job(Saturdays for now)working in a dept store.My husband says there was no need as he says the reason for me getting this job is wrong.He says that to get a job just so you can be able to spend more money is a waste of time,he says we should cut down on stuff instead.Now i am willing to cut down on stuff and indeed have already started,but we have a financial loan for the car that needs paying and any of you with children will know that your money goes nowhere.Can anyone tell me what the problem is with me working one day a week?
