Prayers please.

Folks - may I ask for your thoughts and prayers please? For those kind people who followed my "thoughts/views" thread, you'll know that life has been challenging this year.

Moving away from my ex-partner has been (and still is) terribly painful, notwithstanding the overall benefits of getting out of that relationship. I'm lucky in that I have now met a truly lovely and supportive lady, and we see a lot of each other.

I now have to face the challenge of my job becoming redundant at the end of the year, with all the implications that brings in terms of being able to provide a roof over my head and pay the bills.

There are several interviews lined up - all for interesting roles, but ones where I will probably now have to consider a move away from my home and base in Scotland and down to N England or even the South. Which I really don't want to do, not least for the impact on the embroynic relationship and the physical distance from my friends, support network and family.

I'm trying really hard to remain positive and optimisitic, and there are lots of pointers to a good outcome - but it is so, so worrying and hard to try and cope with it all. I'd welcome your prayers and support, if you are able to do so.

Hi Mike

Sorry to read your post your having as good a year as me. Try and think of it as treading water and Im sure there will be light at the end of the tunnel for you. At least you have a new lady and interviews lined up thats something and you have time to look for another job not just out instantly.

Just hang in there! God has it all in control, and what ever he wants for you, you can guarantee will be the best thing , I will most defnately pray that you will know Gods peace and that he will show you His way forward very soon
