Who gets custody of the dog?

We're making a new documentary for the BBC - Who gets custody of the dog? I am keen to speak to people who may have found themselves in this situation - splitting up with a partner and having to decide who keeps the pet. If you have experienced this or are currently going through it please call me. I realise this can be a very difficult time for people and would like to stress that there is no obligation to appear on TV, we are purely at the research stage.

I know this is an older thing but I have the answer for this . Yes, I lost my home , my truck , my son , my tractor , my sheds , and all that stuff , BUT, I did not lose my dog !

She ( the ex ) tried to keep my hound dog that I raised , trained and hunted with from a pup . LOL The dog decides who to belong to from the heart yall .

I lived at a rest stop and MY hound raised HELL for the ex wife ! Would try to bite the ex , runn off every chance she got looking for me , tore the house appart all the time , attacked her cat and tried to kill it ( hunting ) and peed all over that place inside .

It don't take long before the call comes to " come get this dog " !

The dog decides ! Now that is how it works .

Even being re married now , this beagle that WAS her dog is mine ! LOL It is all in knowing the animals and training .
