my fiance and i were in a long distance relationship for a few years and i made a mistake and cheated because i felt lonely and distant... i kept this from my lover for a while because i did not want to hurt him by telling him but i eventually told him and he said he didn't love me anymore... he loved me more than anyone else ever had and was completely and totally comitted to me and our relationship, i know he was hurt, but is it really possible to just STOP loving someone that suddenly

nicolec - I am a little confused by your post - who "stopped" loving you - your fiance or your lover? Given the context I am assuming (but pls correct me if i am wrong) that your fiance said that? Did you mean to say you kept your the fact you had a "lover" from your fiance? Or was it your lover that loved you more than anything?
