None of us can guarantee that when we marry it will be a success, but there are a number of programmes to help couples look at their relationship and prepare for marriage. You can find out about these at The Wedding Centre . If you are concerned about your quick temper then you can work at controlling that.
Remember that a conflict free marriage may not be a happy one. Some couples accept "peace at any price". Learning to fight in a constructive way can help you to understand each other better and grow closer. You can learn about some of this from articles under Relationship Basics and Constructive Conflict.
The vows many of us make when we marry are not simply promises that we will get everything right they are commitments and
intentions which if we live with integrity we will try to live up to.
There is a lot of talk about divorce but over 60% of all marriages and even more first time marriages last until one or other
partner dies. It is good to take a marriage commitment seriously, but remember we are all "learning on the job", and divorce is
not inevitable. Choose a partner wisely, prepare together for your future, keep working at being the best you can for each other, seek help when you need it and enjoy how wonderful it can be!
I hope you find someone special to marry one day.
With best wishes,
Kate
