Doing something Wrong?

How come no one has posted a reply to my thread?
I really do need some help and advice..I feel as though my world is falling apart,
what do the rest of you do, when your mate has a friend you don't care for, and
is a bad influence on the person in your life?

You can't look to yourself for blame. Your husband has a problem with alcohol, not with you. Frankly, he sounds like an alcoholic if he cant see out a day without getting beered up. That level of addiction is hardly likely to make him behave rationally or think clearly about anything, let alone his relationship with you. Maybe he doesnt even think you have a major problem with him! He needs professional help to wean him of the booze, and while you should let him know you will support him through this, you also need to clearly spell out to him how much damage his drinking is doing to your marriage and how unhappy you are. You need to make him aware that he MUST address his problem NOW or risk losing his wife. Is there any way you can have a quiet word with his so called friend and ask him to basically get lost? He doesnt sound like the sort of friend your husband should have around him. You have a tough fight ahead of you, especially if your husband is as addicted as he sounds. Good luck.
