I'm from Belarus and getting married in Scotland. From the previous marriage i have a daughter of 8. She is living with me though she visits her father's family whenever they like. I'm applying for a fiancee visa which assumes settlement in the UK, and i would like my daughter to live with me there.
The problem is, her father doesnt want to give his permission for her to leave Belarus and settle in the UK with me... At first, he didnt even want to give his permission for her passport to be issued (in our country BOTH parents must permit) . Prayers helped, and in return to my refusal of his alimony payments, he gave permission to her passport and also a visit to Scotland. So now i'm applying for a visitor's visa for my daughter, which means i will have to take her back to Belarus after my wedding..
The documents must be submitted to the embassy on JUNE 10th, and i still hope and pray that he would change his mind. My heart is breaking. The reason for our divorce was his drinking, and he hasnt stopped even now. He doesnt want to think what will be better for our daughter, just doesnt want to give permission and that's it. Not much time is left, please, PRAY with me.
