Are Christians insulated from marriage problems? Is it harder for Christians to admit to problems or seek help?

It's my experience that many Christians think they have to put over a facade of coping or doing well, as if when they don't they are letting God down. Surely Christians are called to be real and open even about their marriages. If they aren't those outside the church are going to think they have to get their lives fully sorted out before they are acceptable to God. That's not how I understand the good news of Jesus, who came to save sinners not those who had got it all together. Just the same Christians ought to have access to God's healing grace and be able to work through the tough times. Most marriages grow through problems not without them.

Of course Christians have marriage problems, some of them have horrendous marriage problems.Everyone has marriage problems and life does not pick or choose whether you have to be Christian to have them!

After 10 years of marriage my wife is divorcing me. We are both christians and always said divorce was never an option. Over the last few months things have changed....we were very happy for years. I know it sounds daft but we were meant to be together forever! We have had a few problems recently and my wife has just "walked away" so yes, christians have marital problems too!
