:( I don't know what to do anymore. My husband has been getting online and contacting other females. This has happened more than once and he says he'll stop. He has repeatedly said he's bored w/his life and that's why he keeps doing it. I am tired of hurting and tired of the lies and most of all I'm tired of constantly worrying about what he does when he's online or not w/me. Does anyone have any advice???

I am very sorry this is happening to you. I can understand how you feel. My husband too does things online that I wonder about. Have you tried to talk to him about counseling? A lot can be said in counseling that won't be said in private. Guys have a hard time talking to someone but if they will let you tell your feelings and show your feelings to him in a safe place then maybe he will really see how this is effecting you. Guys need to be slapped in the face with something to really see what is going on. I wish i had more to say but this is all I can think of. I wish you the best.

Hi Dawn,
Have you had a look at some of the resources available to help people facing the issues you are facing. You can find them here (http://www.2-in-2-1.co.uk/marriageclinic/cyberaffair/). Some are intended for those getting drawn into infidelity and some are for their partners.
Have you thought about doing some marriage enrichment (http://www.2-in-2-1.co.uk/healthclub/servprov/) - it's not counselling, but time away together to spend time on your relationship (programmes available in USA as well as UK). If your husband is bored with life, it might just spice things up and give you some ideas on how to keep the focus on your life together.
Best wishes

Hi Dawn,
You must realize that men are very sexual creatures. Maybe you should ask your husband what he is doing. I would guess he is looking at porn sites. Maybe you should try to enjoy this with him. It may turn him on and get his sites on you. In any event, you must do something to get your love life going in such a manner that he has no time for web surfing... Get creative and try something new...
