Hi, i have a friend whose marriage life is in trouble, ie it seems to be going down hill. i really want to help my friend out cuz i only want the best for her. She has told me they havent been talkin to each other properly for 3 weeks now. Their sex life have also faded into the background too. First they havent had sex for 2 weeks and then it turned into 1 month. Is havin sex in your life important in your marriage??? She says that he doesnt turn her on. And shes always making excuses not to have sex with hiim cuz she doesnt like it. She also says that she cannot imagine living with her hubby forever.

There is an article on the site here (http://www.2-in-2-1.co.uk/articles/firstaid/) which gives basic guidelines on how to support a friend who says there marriage is in trouble.
There are also articles and resources for all sorts of issues in the Marriage Clinic (http://www.2-in-2-1.co.uk/marriageclinic/). From what you have briefly said about your friend's situation, I suspect that the sexual problems are the symptoms of something else, disillusionment, poor communication, unresolved hurt.
What your friend probably needs most is the listening ear, suggested by the article above. Do tell her about this site too if you think it would help.
I hope you can find the wsidom and strength to be there for her. She's lucky to have a good friend like you.
