Hi there

I guess what we call each other is largely a matter of choice, and really depends on what works in your own relationship and culture.

Most of us develop pet names for each other as a way od showing the other that they have a special identity for us.

Remember too, that pet names can be fun when they are in private, but embarrassing when in public. Calling her "Squidgekins" may work fine in the cosiness of your home, but she won't appreciate it being called across the office.
