Amongst all the news of sadness and tragedy in the Gulf it's heart warming to hear about the love between this couple:UTV (http://www.utvinternet.com/newsroom/indepth.asp?id=30353&pt=n) report the acceptance of a marriage proposal on air. A british paratrooper proposed to his girlfriend before he left for the Gulf. He asked her again in a phone call and the care assistant from S****horpe went on Virgin Radio`s forces request show to accept.
"I just want him to know that I want to spend the rest of my life with him and would love to marry him," she told the show, which is broadcast live via the British Forces Broadcasting Service network in the Gulf. "Come back safely and we will get married as soon as possible."
