Relationship Education across the Community to support the family – Conference 2006
By Liz Percival
Conference theme: Learning about New Developments and Networking
The 3rd National Conference on Relationship Education included keynote speakers and more time to network and attend practical workshops covering the new developments in different fields. This year it was a team effort with the Parenting Education & Support Forum, Relate, 2-in-2-1, and the Family Matters Institute putting together the main workshop themes covering parenting, young people and schools, couple and domestic finance relationship issues. Care for the Family, National Association of Community Family Trusts, Time for Families and Integral Events also made major contributions to this year’s conference planning.
