A place to share your views
It's amazing to consider that there are well over 70 separate organisations in the UK alone working with different aspects of support to marriage, to say nothing of the wider group of organisations involved in "Family life" in general.
A number of you have said, in various different ways, "We need a place to talk!". Although we have for some time provided our Partners Forum, we have seen little sign of activity from you! To try and address this we have:-
- upgraded the technology to allow us to offer many new features
- signed you all on as "Professional" members to save you the time and trouble
- Set the system so that you are notified when there is a new posting on the discussion forum for Marriage workers.
You will receive a separate e-mail with your details shortly.
There are already quite a few starter topics on the forum ranging from links to the latest ONS statistics, to the latest research from Sweden on the influence on existing marriages of Divorcees in the workplace.
Please do post information on all related topics. In particular we are on the look out for information on:-
- research on marriage related topics in UK and Europe
- what works in applying for Government funding? How could we work better together in this area?
